The frozen lake was particularly cool looking this day thanks to a healthy helping of fog. We did venture across the lake, despite the slush on top gving the feeling that the ice wouldn't support yo for long! Most of those footprints are ours. The eerie effect was achieved by bumping the contrast, which the fog had left extremely low.

Just a quick picture I snapped of one of the hydrants back by our barn. we moved in a few years back, but I would still guess its WAY older than I am!

Took this while driving around my home town of greenville, MI. Sometimes I have my camera with me just-in-case. This was one day I was really glad I did as the sunset looked like it wasn't going to be anything special when i left!

Another shot from last winter. My mom has these candle shaped lights that go in all the windows. I remember this was a particularly crappy day outside. It was cold, with that rain/snow/slushy crap coming down. A great day to stay in our warm old house and snap some pics!

Big ice storm hit the last winter and EVERYTHING had a few millimeters of ice on it. It took me a good ten minutes to get all the ice off of my windsheild that morning... this is just one of the plants in our yard that got frozen solid!

We drove to the nearby baldwin lake one boring afternoon and parked along the road so I could take some pictures. That's my trusty Buick there (with the lights on apparently lol) and a couple good friends sitting along the shore. a couple more wait inside, probably thinking they were safe from being in th pictures!
